The lovely PA at the walk-in clinic has diagnosed my intermittent-but-getting-worse thumb/wrist pain as tendinitis. Probably it's a workplace injury. As a result I'm wearing a splint for two weeks, and icing my wrist four times a day (though I keep forgetting that part ( Read more... )

Oh, I've had that. It's a misery. I hope you heal up quickly so you can do yoga (and anything else you want to do pain-free).

Pain around the large joint up at the top of your thumb?

Here's hoping the splint...and occasional icing...will help!

That's the one! It started with the industrial stapler at work. They've purchased me an electronic one so hopefully it will heal eventually. At least they're willing to accommodate at work. To a point.

Been there, done that, bought the tee shirt.

Electric stapler! I'd spend all day playing with it and never get a thing done!
