I had such a good hair day yesterday. I looked like an extra from Bletchley Circle, all soft and lovely curls and it was very classic. Today I look a bit like an extra from Heidi who's suffering from manual dexterity issues. Ah, well. Can't win 'em all ( Read more... )

::I've tried this twice. It had better work this time or There Will Be Hell To Pay. Who will pay it is a question to be addressed later.::

I am saddened to hear about your father's health issues. It is indeed a terrible thing that time makes us so mortal. It's good that he's recovering well. Fair warning, it takes much longer than it seems like it should. Don't let that throw you (or them).

I couldn't live in the snow. I live in the warmest state around and complain when the mornings are in the 40's! (Of course, I also complain when they're in the 100's. Go figure. You can't please some people.)

I'm delighted to hear from you. How are things going for you? We are unchanged...except that Chloe is growing too fast. My love to you, my dear. Be well.

I'm...okay. Working on being better. It would help if it would stop snowing already. This winter has really taken its toll on the south. It's the only time I've ever missed the desert.

Thanks! We are all tucked in at home and hopefully tomorrow will be a snow day from work.

Thanks; he's doing really well, though he's stubborn so who knows how long he'll listen to the doctor.

Bah. Stubborn relatives never fail to bring the agita.

It's good that your father's doing well after his heart attack. I hope he finishes out this year in better health (and you too!).

Love the thought of a Heidi extra with manual dexterity issues.

Note to self: Never braid your hair before coffee. It's tragic, really.

::Hugs:: I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad, I'm glad he's doing better though.

The North East sucks this winter, I can't wait for the summer!

This winter is the *worst*. I read the Old Farmer's Almanac, so I knew it was coming, but still. I'm over it.
