Fic: At the Hour of Death 11/15 (CSI, Nick/Greg, NC17)

Apr 06, 2004 14:29

My tooth hurts. Yes, that same one I had all that work done on last year. Fucking thing. I think it's infected, actually, which kind of sucks. It's making me kind of feverish and airheaded, at any rate, because I took a wrong turn out of the mechanic's today and didn't notice for almost three miles. But at least I have dental insurance, ( Read more... )

Hee! I can't imagine all the energy it must take Greg to keep from laughing at Nick on a regular basis.

(I'm glad they made up. I hate it when they fight.)

I would laugh at Nick all day long if I were Greg. But it's a courtship thing -- once he gets Nick in his clutches he can laugh at him all he wants and he doesn't have to worry about it ruining his chances of getting Nick in bed.

I'm glad you got to read it before you left work. Of course you're home and computerless now, but at least you don't have to play catch-up on this fic. Although I am a little afraid of the next part, so it might be awhile before you have to worry about another chapter.

That post had nothing at all to do with you, I promise. Don't mind me, I'm just feeling all melodramatic and morose today.

"Yeah," Greg said, features softening into a genuine smile and Nick's stomach did a weird little flutter that made him clear his throat and shift uncomfortably in his seat.

They are so cute. They are so cute it calls for my Greg/Nick cookies! icon.

And, dude, yeah you really are a big tease. But I don't mind. I can't wait until the next part.

Mmm...cookies...

Yeah, I can't eat solid foods right now so I'll just be over here not thinking about cookies ; )

I'm glad you don't mind the tease. I didn't really intend for it to be a tease, it just worked out that way.

Personally, I've always felt that Greg has a much better handle on his emotions than our Nick. He tends to act before he thinks sometimes. And then there's the overthinking, which is usually just as disastrous.

Negative is my default setting. Le sigh. I'll try to be more positive. Thanks : )

That's how I met Max. And I never dated him. His type's a little more…buff, if you know what I mean.

I can so see Greg's face here :D

Pokes Nick and his carefully guarded responses. If he isn't careful he's going to end up blurting out something really incriminating. Hee!

Nick's too smart for his own good, really. I try to balance the Smart and Capable with the Clueless and Fumbling, but I think the Clueless might be tipping the scales a little in this one. I'll have to let him be smarter in my next fic to make it up to him. Or at least, you know, let him get some action.
