His brother died by accident -- they were playing around with his father's gun and it went off. He lied and said his brother shot himself, but really it was him who pulled the trigger, so he has all this guilt he carries around. The movie's funny because it's all this heavy angst piled onto a totally cheesy, feel-good 80s movie. And the soundtrack is horrendous. But for pure slash factor it's one of my favorites, because they're so clearly in love.

You know, I forgot to mention that the wrist touching is actually in the movie. So yes, very slashy.

Okay, because I didn't know who these boys are, I went to IMDB (Adam Baldwin is in this movie?!) got the basics, then went and read all your 'My Bodyguard' fic, because I'm easy that way. Now, all I have to say is this: Does 'The Unwalked Garden' have a sequel? Please?

Yeah. Uh...there should be a sequel, but because I suck it isn't written yet. But someday. Because I really owe the five people who read in that fandom *some* kind of closure.

And yes, that was Adam's first film. He was adorable and wonderful and hella, hella slashy. And I've loved him since the 80's so all the Firefly fans with their 'Adam is so cool' can just get in line. Heh.
