It's your typical cop show, lots of dead people and crime-solving. Except that Creegan took a bullet awhile back and was dead for ten minutes, then spent a year in a psychiatric hospital rehabilitating. He's kind of crazy now. It's based on a British series, as I recall. Creegan's kind of entertaining, but he's really not very slashy. The only way I could slash him was in this sort of very angsty way.

You are so very very evil. I try and try to resist new things because God knows the last thing I need to do is spend even more time combing the internet for obscure slash pairings but dammit. I had to read this because, hey, Caroline has this really neat way of writing characters into existence, and now I'm probably addicted because I could totally picture them actually doing this, especially the last scene where Creegan is trying to explain why he doesn't want to have sex with Rivers again. And poor Rivers, with his super sekrit crush and pretending that he's okay with being his crazy co-worker's experimental foray into gay sex. Think of all that angst. And since you said this was a one-shot deal (though we all can hope you suddenly get attacked by the Rivers muse who demands comfort sex because of his angst) I'll probably have to pine in vain. Evil.
