So I finally finished the rest of the ficlet requests, mostly because NaNo starts on Monday and I have a feeling I'm going to have to all but give up fic writing for the month. I hate offering something and then not following through, although it's occasionally unavoidable. But these are not that good, so I don't feel like I've really fulfilled my obligation. Here's hoping the novel will be better ; )

I miss Touching Evil like whoa lately, therefore I'm obsessing. I have another fic written but I can't post it until tomorrow because it's for the holiday challenge. But for as much as I hate that USA cancelled the show, I love where they left it. It's such a great jumping off place for fic of all kinds.

The fired one was really weird to write, but you know, given the way the season's going I can totally see it happening. Not that I think it's going to, I just could see it. If that makes any sense.

Tommy's parents on the show were these very vapid, barely-there parents, so I can't picture them being anything less than casual about his coming out. It's so obvious canonically that he and Merton are Meant To Be anyway.

And you know, I really don't think I'm any good at writing Kate, but I'm glad you liked. I love femmeslash, as you know, but for as lovely as they are, I'm not really feeling those two.

I am in awe of the BWoC ficlet. Somehow by being all Pleasantville "that's nice, dear" you managed to be incredibly creepy while being totally accepting. That's deeply weird.

Tommy's parents are a little bit creepy, really, so that's actually a good thing. Or something. I don't know, it's really the only way I can envision them reacting.

The Touching Evil one rocked; you totally have their voices down. I love Creegan/Rivers and I'm happy it is a new obsession of yours because, yay, more fic!

Thanks, I'm glad it worked. I always worry about writing Creegan dialogue. And this obsession couldn't have come at a worse time, but that's okay.
