I blame the_darkglow entirely for this, because he's the one who sent me a box full of crack VHS tapes of shows I love and miss (Glory Days!!!!!), as well as shows I've never seen before. I've never written fic in this fandom before, but watching the episodes again has reminded me of how

Oh, yay! It is crack, isn't it? I actually have them all on tape, even the unaired eps - though I haven't quite gotten around to watching them all. Poor Eric, he keeps getting these *really* slashy parts that don't last. Have you seen him lately? Yow-freaking-za!

A whole box full of crack. Although there are some problems with one of the BWOC tapes so I'm working on an inventory at the moment.

I do feel for Eric, though. I tried to watch Hawaii for him but it was crap and vaguely racist and I couldn't take it. I see he's filled out quite nicely, though.

I fleetingly thought about them as a pairing when I marathoned the show ages ago, but I never bothered looking for fic, and let me tell ya, I think you got Niko down to a tee. And how you wrote it, they really worked together. I really liked this.

Sadly, it was cancelled after five or six episodes by ABC. Europe got the full thirteen, I believe, but they never aired here.

Didn't read the fic because I didn't watch the show and have no clue what it's about. But I'll probably look it up online and come back to read it in a few. ;D

But Glory Days! This is part of the reason I love you, Caroline. You watch a lot of the old shows I used to watch before they were cancelled and I don't feel like one of the only people on earth who's heard of them. <3

Dude, I've written Glory Days *fic*. Three very short stories, granted, but still. That show was super-slashy and I miss it. Even though I kind of hated Mike.

I'm telling you, it's all about the rareslash. The first fandom I was in was Harry Potter which is a huge fandom, but now? I can't get into big fandoms like that. All the fandoms I like and read are a lot smaller. I wonder what that says about me now?

It's not a reflection on you. It's just that the quality of writing with rare fandoms is usually better, because nobody writes characters only a handful of other people have even heard of unless they really, *really* love those characters.

Hence the high quality of the Yuletide fics.
