Damn hard-to-write Creegan.

He, totally, totally *is*! I can't get a handle on him, which is why I haven't written anything in that fandom. I don't think he's OOC here, and I loved this fic. I have 30 minutes until I can leave the office and no work to do, so I'm going to sit here and picture Rivers for awhile. *g*

You'll notice that I never write from his POV, and I very rarely let him talk, because he's just so *difficult*. It's easier to let Rivers be confused by him than to deal with Creegan directly. But picturing Rivers is a pretty nice way to spend a spare half hour, so I'm glad I could help : )

Brett/Avery is from Suicide Kings, which is one of my favorite movies of all time. Well worth seeing for the Walken and the slash.

SK is undeniably slashy. I love it for a lot of reasons, but that's the biggest. And Brett rules in his misanthropic glory.

I have no problems at all with people requesting Harlan/Marcus. I find it kind of flattering because it's such a tiny, little-known fandom and it feels good to see that people want to read characters that I've fleshed out so much from the original canon versions. Plus, I cannot seem to let this particular universe go. It's as close as they could get to happenly ever after in canon, so I like to indulge them.

I'm still thinking about your Ghost Ship request, but I feel as though I've already written the idea that your prompt prompted. So I'm still mulling it over.
