It was just a bizarre day all around.

::fingers crossed:: that Annie will decide the new kitty doesn't look tasty and rather looks like she'll make a good friend. Introducing kitties is never an easy thing, especially when one is a female kitty who is used to ruling the roost.

And, those two library stories, ugh, ((((HUGS))))

I guess I just didn't expect Annie to be so vicious. I'll keep working on her, though.

This library is really not a pleasant place to work. I need to regroup and figure out what I'm doing with my life.

Yes, you have just confirmed that the world is filled with people that scare the crap out of me. This is probably why I only 'talk' to people on the internet...which should scare the crap out of me too.

Give Annie as much attention as you can. It sounds like she is feeling pushed out of her territory. I like the name for the cat. I have always done lame names...my currant cat is TC (for The Cat), and the one before was KiKi (as in 'here, KiKiKiKi.) Original, yes? ::sigh::

Yea for getting your stitches out! Healing wounds itch like a son-of-a-gun.

I didn't even realize you had a cat. Our cat names almost match! We are clever, the pair of us.

The world is definitely full of scary people, but thankfully some of them are behind bars where they belong. And I don't put my name on any of the prisoner letters, so there's a measure of protection there. Still: creepy.

Alas, the stitches are still in. Annoying! But emergencies happen, so whatever. I just hope they don't take forever about it tomorrow, because I have to work.

That's really damn creepy. If I was there for the Megan's Law thing, I'd probably...I don't know.

That whole thing thing with that book and the killer is also really weird and creepy. You work at a regular library??

Yeah, there's not much you can do but try not to react when people ask you questions that creep you out. It's just a regular public library, though. It's downtown in a midsized city so we get more weirdos than they would in a neighborhood branch, but still. I miss Florida and the geriatric crowd who were crabby, but rarely creepy.

I used to work at a library for three year before going to college--we just got a lot of people who were "mentally handicapped" as my boss would say.

But yeesh. >.<
