Fic (Touching Evil, Creegan/Rivers, PG)

Dec 09, 2007 09:36

Today I give you a song by Let's Go Sailing, an L.A.-based pop band that I enjoy. There aren't enough good girl groups around, and this isn't an all-girl group either, but they're fronted by a great female vocalist and I think you will dig their sound, if you haven't heard them already back when I posted another one of their tracks. Today's song ( Read more... )

Awwww... This was great. I really enjoyed it, despite only having seeing a few bits and pieces of the show.

Thanks. It's a great series, and I don't even like procedurals! We'll put it on the list of things to watch next time I see you.

Sounds like a plan. :)

I kind of hate you at the moment, I am not oh so very tempted to hunt episodes down. There is no bad when it comes to Bradly Cooper. You are evil.

Delightful story! I am downloading the songs now, thank you!

You sure? There's a torrent for the whole series. With seeds and everything. Not enough, but still.

Also, Jeffrey Donovan is the star, and he's even crazier and hot as Creegan than he is in Burn Notice. Just saying.

Yeah, so much with the you being evil. I have the download set up, not traffic as of yet, but I have my fingers crossed.

Evil.

Oh, you'll thank me later. It's got Peter Wingfield! And Creegan/Rivers is practically canon by the end. In fact, this entire fic was based on canon.

I'd make you copies of my episodes, but the quality is pretty bad. Though if the torrent lets you down, you know where to find me. The writer's negotiations fell apart again on Friday, we'll all be needing new things to watch.

Oh man. That is agonizing slow burn -- I LOVE IT. And I really wish I'd watched this show when it was on, but by the time I knew Bradley was on it it was almost over and I think I only caught one episode.

It's funny, because it was such a sad series throughout, and it ended on this really hopeful note. So in a way it's probably just as well that it got canceled when it did, even though it never got the chance it deserved.

I know you're expecting me to say I don't know any thing about this show.

I'm so glad I don't need to disappoint you.

I wish I did, tho. I adore Jeffrey Donvan, any thing with him in it has got to score some points at least. Nice fic, and even not knowing who they were (tho I picked up that they had to be some kind of cops) it made sense...and was sexy to boot!

Well I will happily share the episodes with you then. I had no idea you were such a Jeffrey fan; you really need to see him as Creegan, as it is the most wonderfully insane character ever.

I never even noticed him before "Burn Notice" and then I couldn't seem to turn on the TV without seeing him in something. Makes me wonder how I missed him before. (I like how he's always just a little crazy; maybe in need of pharmaceuticals.)

I would very much appreciate the episodes. I watched the little clip and thought to myself, "Self, you must pay attention for the chance this will get endless replay on the USA channel." But really, Self only listens to me half the time, and forgets most of that.

I am sad to say that they never replay this on USA, at least not that I've ever seen. I guess the Monk marathons take precedence. But I'll burn the episodes for you along with that copy of Brotherhood II I still owe you. They should be done downloading tomorrow, and then you can have better copies than the ones I burned from VHS three years ago.

I have to admit that I haven't seen this show, and hadn't even heard of this show but this fic and that clip have me intrigued. I like accidental relationships, I don't' know why I just do and this was a perfect example of it. Where it just goes from friends to something more overnight and you can't really tell why. Perfect. :D

Plus... BRADLEY COOPER FTW! :D

I think, with the writers' strike continuing to roll on, that I will have to pimp this show before long. It's only 13 episodes, but they're 13 very good episodes, and if it garners more Creegan/Rivers, it'll be worth my time.

Anyway, thanks for reading! I think you would like Creegan/Rivers. I'll have to put up some clips once I download better copies of the episodes. Bradley Cooper is really too beautiful to be ignored.
