Fic: (Dante's Cove, Toby/Adam, PG)

Today's fic is a bit of wish fulfillment on my part. But it's an obscure fandom, and a little wish fulfillment never hurt anybody, right? This is how I'd like to see Dante's Cove play out, on that fateful day (hopefully far, far in the future) when it gets canceled. God, I downloaded season one of Entourage and I just never remember to watch it. Thanks for the reminder, I will write it down this time.

How is it that I love Bro all of a sudden? How did you do that, show?? I want him to be over Kevin too, because Kevin sucks and deserves to end up alone and possibly chained in a basement somewhere. Did you watch the latest episode? Because yeah, Kevin really, really sucks and the previews make me worry (as usual).

with none of the WGL stuff that makes Bro so awesome. Yeah, I saw it. WTF Kevin? Seriously? but OMG how RELIEVED are you that you-know-who finally did you-know-what? No one needed it more than she did. NO ONE. I noticed that Ms. Scoggins does not reveal boobage on camera. :D Good for her!

I know! That scene ruled. But not quite as much as Grace being all, "Psych!" and Griffin being all, "That's hot." Because that was awesome too.

You're right, he's becoming all the things that sucked about Bro in the beginning. And granted, Bro went about it all wrong, but it's not technically his fault he's got such a fucked up notion of love. He didn't lock Kevin in a cellar for 100 years, he probably thinks he's way ahead of the game.

I promise to watch Entourage, if for no other reason than Piven. He is pretty awesome.

Awesome, as always! I imagined this fic in my head with Original Flavour Adam from S1. Hope you don't mind.

I am still completely baffled as to why Tobey, Ambrosius or anyone with a functional cerebellum would want cheaty, whiny, pouty Kevin. Hopefully something big, heavy and meteor-shaped will drop on his soon...

btw- have you seen THE LAIR yet? They had me at "Gay Vampires" and "Starring Peter Stickles", even if, asides from Pete, the acting and plot is actually *worse* than over at the Cove- lots of young men turn up dead- all being hot, nude 20 something males drained of blood, with two puncture wounds at their neck in the same area of dry riverbed. Sheriff Colton Ford sees no pattern to the killings!)

Yes, I have seen The Lair, and I'm going to have to ask you not to make disparaging remarks about Sheriff Colton in my journal ; ) I am hoping for a cameo on DC, but so far I've been sadly disappointed.

Though what Tom is doing showing up WORKING in The Lair on DC I don't understand. Perhaps season 2 will provide us an explanation, but I'm not holding my breath. (The least they could have done was gotten Brad again. He's been on DC before, it would have made sense.)

I don't understand the Kevin love. And so much of the DC fandom LOVES him. I guess because he's a whiney chick and the teenies can relate? It's irritating.

As far as your Adam preference, I have no qualms : ) Jon Fleming has grown on me a lot, but I did really enjoy the first Adam.

So far as I've heard, neither show is going to be big with the crossovers. Mmmm- Bro/Damien... *g*

Kevin is a whiny, fickle, brainless little cuckold who thinks the world revolves around him because he's pretty. Ahh=now I know why I don't like him- he reminds me of Buffy *g*

I... This... Snurff... You got me all misty eyed for them - this is so completely what they deserve, and so totally not what's coming...

I actually like Jon Fleming a lot more than the original flavor Adam - I can't even remeber what he looked like - and Jon has given the character a lot more depth and sympathy - poor guy, he's sooo gonna get hosed.

I know! I want this for them SO BAD, and I know what's coming. I KNOW. (Though if Toby ends up with Kevin I will never forgive them. Never. Kevin deserves to be alone until he stops fucking whining.)

I like Jon a lot too. At first I was really upset that they replaced what's-his-face, but Adam has totally grown on me and now he's my favorite thing ever. I think I love him more than Van, even, which will make it even worse when he's left broken-hearted in the end. I just hope they don't kill him off. Though the podcasters love Adam best too, so I harbor some (delusional) high hopes.

I popped over here from dantes_cove at the mention of fic, and this didn't disappoint! This was lovely, but still a little sad. Oh boys, I just want them to be happy. ish.

(also, I noticed while skimming for this fic that you've also written two other pairings I like, Jarod/Griff, which makes me gleeful because there is no NAGM fic out there, and Mickey/Jake, so um, fyi you'll probably be getting a bunch more comments from me in the future once I have time to sit down and read through them :D)

That's me, the rareslash girl : ) It's sad there's not more Jarod/Griff fic out there; I don't really get it. They're so cute!

Anyway, as for Dante's Cove fic, I didn't mean for this particular one to turn out so melancholy, but I wrote it in the middle of the season when I was bracing myself for the writers to break up Toby and Adam, so maybe that's why. I will probably spend the hiatus writing some happy fic for them, just in case : )
