The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything: they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives ( Read more... )

the happiest people as you know are not always happy. It's a constant fight. a daily struggle with the world and especially with themselves.

the road is long and there is never an end to their journey, but as you said... "after the rainstorm does the rainbow come out"
and that is what they look for... the small things in life. the small things that add up to a bigger significant meaning in life...

maybe it's the understanding that there won't be happy times unless you make the best of it and make each second count....

Yes I have to agree. The people who appear to be happy, aren't always the happiest..they are the ones that are most troubled! Not always true, but most of the time.

I wholeheartedly agree with your comment.."...the small things in life. the small things that add up to a bigger significant meaning in life...

maybe it's the understanding that there won't be happy times unless you make the best of it and make each second count...."

Which is true in my case, it's always the little things, the small gestures that make a lasting impression on me and makes me smile!!

Thanks Ryin for your insightful comment =]

it's something we all know but just don't really say out loud... sometimes we need to see it in front of us or hear it from someone else to really sink in...

it goes the same for me... the smaller things in life fascinate me more than anything... it adds up to the whole...

when a person takes the time to do the little things, it shows how much they care and if they are thinking about you or not...

the big things are easily done and apperantly noticable... but i wonder if we notice the little things... I sure do..

but another note... most people miss the big picture... which is the little things... not the big things...

that is a great quote kttle March 14 2003, 00:22:11 UTC
Hey C

I had that quote on my page not too long ago. There are days when I have to read to remind myself of what I want to accomplish in my life. Quotes and sayings are a great reminder for us to stay grounded....

Hey!

How ya doing in NY? Hope ya having a blast. Yea, I like that lil' saying too..helps me put things into perspective!

change of subject. btw, I'm heading down to LA this Friday (again) and my friends and I want to hit up Highlands, seeing how I've never been there =P~ What's it like? Are the bouncers dicks? Cuz I have like 2 friends who are't 21 but will be using an ID i have for them..so I'm just wondering. Thanks Toast!

Happy Hump Day!

Happy Hump Day? What's that? =P

NYC has been great so far... it's nice to be busy during the day, working, and making cash... and seeing my friends here.

As for Highlands. Go to www.dmkworld.com. and make sure to sign up for the guestlist. not sure if it's always like this, but sometimes they don't let people in that aren't on the guestlist... but that could have been an excuse cause they didn't like how my friends were dressed. But for a group of attractive girls... I doubt you'll have a problem. I do suggest that you just get there early and avoid the mob. And I mean mob. They don't form lines there. The venue and the crowd is pretty good. The bouncers are very strict compared to other places in LA... they really work for their pay. Good luck and have fun. Let me know how it goes.

Hump day = Wednesday, cuz it's in the middle of the week. Hence "HUMP" day. keke.

I'm glad you're having a good time in NY!! Hope it's not too cold over there!!

THANKS for the tip Allen!!! We'll see how it goes, my gf is afraid of "rejection" from the bouncers..so we'll see!! If not I think we might head out to The Lounge or something? A friend said they aren't too strict on ID's or whatevers. =P~ I'll let ya know how things go though. hehe.

Have a good weekend!! I'm leaving for LA on Friday, then it's off to Vegas, and then back to LA/Irvine and the back home. So you'll hear from me again prolly hrm. next Wednesday!!! =]
