Monday, 10th September - sightseeing in Bangkok

That morning, we met up with Duang at 9 am. A friend of Duang, Gift, came with us. She was lovely, too! Both of them were really a good guides!!

We took the skytrain and after that, we made a boat trip on the river which was fun. While doing that, we saw quite a lot of sights, Duang and Gift told us about them.

If you ever go to Hong Kong you will also have that feeling, that people there are always shopping, shopping and shopping, hehe! Just like there in Bangkok, hehe! ;) :p
It is always so cool to be able to meet our penpals/ friends! :)

I called Maria yesterday and she feels better and better.
Is it typical of Asia that people are always shopping? *haha*
Meeting friends when we are on holiday is always great!

In Hong Kong it sure seems that people there don't know how to do anything else but shopping, but things there are really cheap, so maybe that's why, hehe! ;)

Yes, I think so too. Things in Bangkok were not really expensive, either. Of course, it depends on where you buy things.

When Emi and I said to Duang (my Thai friend) that Thai people are only shopping, she shook her head. :)
