Monday, 1st September 2008 ... Funchal ...

It was now time to do some sightseeing in Funchal. Mica, Cátia and I went in town together. We took the bus to go there. Cátia had to go to work and that's why she didn't join us. But we had lunch together before she started working.

Mica was a really good guide!! We visited several shops and I only did window shopping. I was too stingy at that time

Yes, you are right, when we were walking on Avenida do Mar we came across with the Fortaleza de Sao Lourenco, you have a very good memory! :D

The big garden we visited is called Parque de Santa Catarina. :D
