So I saw Deathly Hallows on Friday. I liked it, personally. Visually it was probably my favourite of the ones I've seen, and I feel like this time it was pretty well-executed with regards to the acting, pacing, and keeping things relatively close to canon. It's Kind of a Funny Story & Watching the Detectives
So both of these movies fit the 'twist on a very very very very very formulaic plot' mold, even if one is a teenage coming-of-age film and the other is a romantic comedy.
