I'm using my Jeb icon to protest the lack of young Cain in this chapter. However, seeing you use that sentence in the disclaimer made me, as queenof1000days says, jump up and down like a five-year-old hyped up on sugar, so you're forgiven. I think. Hee.

Thank you a million times over for the explanation as to why Lavender didn't exorcise the Witch from Az. That's probably the largest plothole and problem I have with the series, and you handled it gracefully and deftly here.

I also really like the relationship between DG and her parents; you continually make that both sympathetic and realistic, and my hat's off to you, because it's a remarkably difficult thing to do.

Will I definitely be forgiven if I tell you I just finished outlining chapter 15, and there's a significant Jeb and Telly presence? Though not together, sadly: DG and Telly plot and then DG guilt-trips Jeb. Other things happen, too, including some Az. I think it will be fun.

Me, too. Hence, this chapter. Seriously, this fic is my way of fixing all the problems I saw in the mini. And my way of shaking up fandom (queenof1000days tells me my interpretation of the prophecy is a "fandom f**k"). I'm having fun and it keeps me out of trouble, so it's all good. :-)

YAY for updates!

WOW!!! I was so totally not expecting the Queen to choose to abdicate the throne so quickly. From a political point of view, it makes sense but then this action immediately and potentially thrusts DG into the position. Poor girl's only been the OZ a few weeks and now she might have to ascend as Queen?! Big shocker for her there.

I see that DG's powers are developing more as an empath as she's able to tell what Cain's feeling. Maybe there's a bigger connection between than we can see.

Poor DG. She really needs a nap or a good night's sleep after such a hard day.

Can't wait for the next bit!

Wow, that was certainly a whopper that they put on DG! Poor girl! Love how Cain was being silently supportive throughout the whole ordeal.

Sooo...Jeb and Telly are making babies? :P Sorry, I just had to comment on that, lol. When is DG finally going to knock some sense into him?

First off, as always it's a pleasure sweetie! Secondly, I can't believe you put that sentence in the disclaimer. I love that you did though. Third, if I had gotten more sleep I would leave a much better review than this. Besides I think I've told you numerous times how much I love this story in our numerous chats.

I like that you're developing ideas that are different from the majority of the fandom, the Queen and Ahamo are actually likable in this story which you don't find too often (at least I haven't recently), and right now I just want to give DG a big hug, put her to bed, and shoot anyone who comes in her room. The girl needs at least eight hours of sleep and a bubbly bath.
