My sister gave birth to a bouncing baby boy at about 12:30am. After 12 hours of attempted natural labor (including over 4 hours of active pushing--ouch), they had to take him c-section. It's no wonder--he was 9 lb. 6 oz.! Can you even imagine?! And my sister is so tiny ( Read more... )

Do you mean natural as in without drugs? Brave, brave woman.

No, "natural" as in vaginal birth, rather than a Caesarian. She had an epidural.

Gotcha. That's what I did. But didn't have the 12 hours of pushing. Got Jude out after only 45 minutes of pushing. He was a little more than a pound lighter than Aidan though. I can't tell you how much I LOVE his name!!!
