Summary: Kyuhyun and Kibum decide to do something that has never been done in the family. What are their respective motives for doing this? And how do Sungmin and Henry get involved in their First Killing?

Heechul sputtered. Leeteuk squawked. Yesung stared. Shindong gaped. Donghae shook Kibum. Zhoumi simply gazed on with that serene gaze of his.
"I feel like two nuclear bombs just dropped on us." Shindong summed up everyone's feelings aptly.
Kyuhyun sighed. He had not expected Kibum to make the announcement at the same time he did. Kyuhyun had enrolled himself at the local school, only to be peered at weirdly by the secretary and her owlish glasses. Apparently, another weirdo had dropped by on the same day, wanting to enrol in the school too. Pale skin, defined arm muscles, low voice, an I-can't-be-bothered attitude. That sounded like Kibum alright.
Kyuhyun should be glad he won't be in the same class as Kibum, he reflected. That guy was so smart, he would just outshine Kyuhyun. Kibum was three months away from being seventeen, while Kyuhyun was going on to fifteen. Thus, Kibum would be going to the local junior college, while Kyuhyun would be in secondary school. Their school was conveniently in the same grounds, as the whole school was affiliated. From the primary school to junior college, it was all in the same compounds. Their decision to attend school, however, was an unprecedented move in the family.
Leeteuk's eyes were brimming with tears. Kibum rolled his eyes. Drama queen, he thought. "I've failed as the eldest in the family.. I've allowed my Vamplings to be tainted by the ways of the human world!" Leeteuk wailed, clutching his chest melodramatically.
"Yeah, the first two brats ever to attend school! Good job, my dear Vamplings! Teukie here will be so ashamed as the oldest.." Heechul smirked from his usual corner. The fact that he was but nine days younger than Leeteuk didn't bother him at all.
Kyuhyun made to retreat to the attic, hoping to escape their probing. Kibum would be able to handle them by himself, anyway. He was already beginning to explain his decision to Leeteuk.
Leeteuk's voice drifted up from the first floor. "You can run, but you can't hide, Kyuhyun ah! I'm coming for you soon!" Kyuhyun gave an exasperated moan and made to focus on his book. Sometimes, he really hated how the house was made. From the living room to the attic, there were no floors. The house smelt like a gigantic room that stank of sewerage and raw meat. The absence of floors meant that they could swoop around freely without being hindered by anything. The attic was the only level that had a floor, and Kyuhyun and Kibum, the only Vamplings left, stayed there with their beds.
Zhoumi sighed and flew up to the attic too, where Kyuhyun was perched on his bed, trying to ignore the ruckus downstairs. Shindong and Donghae were poking Kibum, teasing him mercilessly about wanting to pursue an education. Kibum merely continued explaining his decision to Leeteuk, although it seemed more like a monologue as Leeteuk was now clutching his head between his knees, moaning and groaning incoherently. Slinging an arm around his shoulders, Zhoumi grinned playfully.
"Care to tell me why you decided to go to school?"
Kyuhyun frowned. "I'm not sure, really.. Maybe I just want to study?" He said in a mock-thoughtful manner.
"Alright, alright, no need to be so sarcastic already.. Well I'd just like you to know that I fully support your decision!" Zhoumi grinned.
Kyuhyun was, to say the least, surprised. "You do?"
"Yeah! Win many scholarships alright?" Zhoumi beamed again before flying off.
Kyuhyun felt a lump in his throat. Zhoumi was too nice to be a Vampire sometimes. Kyuhyun felt guilty for lying to the family, and for the many people that he was going to lie to in the future.
Sungmin. He would have to lie to him the most. Befriend him, get closer to him, and at the end of the day, his First Killing would be successful.. It would be more spectacular than Donghae's.
Thinking about this, Kyuhyun couldn't help but grin darkly to himself.
Yipes I'm sorry this is dragging out too long T.T But Chapters 3-8 were written when I had a fever, so please understand. Plus, this whole thing is un-beta-ed because 1. My beta-er is busybee101, and 2. I have too much confidence in the Notes app of my iPod (((: So yes. Do enjoy yourself!
