Wow, it seems kind of early to be worrying about Christmas gifts right now. Where I live, people usually don't start thinking about the holiday season until three weeks before it takes place.

I wish it was that way where I lived. People start shopping the day after thanksgiving (black friday). I always thought the rush on that day was a little excessive, lol. I noticed christmas decorations downtown ever since halloween ended!

Ever since Halloween ended? Wow, that's so soon! Lol, why do you wish for the people around your city to shop for Christmas later? I always enjoy the holiday atmosphere even when it comes a little early XD

Anyways, it just seems odd to me to prepare for christmas so far ahead of time. It's not that I don't like the holiday atmosphere. It just seems way too early.

Although, I agree with you about this time of year for one key reason: people are entirely too greedy.

I'm already sick of Christmas, and it's not even Thanksgiving!

I definitely think people are too greedy during the holidays. XD But I guess it gets some people thinking about giving.

However, at times the holiday season seems way, way, way too extravagant and excessive, like the whole meaning of it is being drowned out.
