An announcement was pinned in the common room the day after the birth. It was a simple one, announcing the birth of Michelle's daughter, Tamara Faraday, (7lbs even) and assurances that mother and child are both doing well

And a dark-haired boy about a year and a half of age will come scurrying into the room, a woman with red-gold hair following him, a girl of the same age with strawberry blond hair toddling after her. "Daniel, come here," she calls, finally catching up with the boy and scooping him up. "Where were you going?" she says, chiding him, but the boy just giggles.
"I hope my son wasn't bothering you," the woman says, clearly the mom to the twins.
"He's enthusiastic about everything," trust Michelle to find this endearing. "He gets noticed wherever he knows."
Since the little girl is shy, Michelle gives her a smile. "Daisy? Is that because you're a pretty wildflower?" Then looking up to the mother, "I'm Michelle Benjamin, and this little miss is Tamara."
Presumably they might have spotted Michelle at the housewarming party, but have somehow failed to catch her, so when the note comes, Belize and Justin make sure to be there.
Belize's posh-pretty voice rings down the hall. "So I totally think we need to, you know, start thinking about how we can help with redecorating," he' s telling his man as they're about to reach the lounge. "I absolutely love baby bedrooms."
Speaking of beaming, Michelle does the same at the sight of Catelyn. Standing out of respect, with a very awake (and gurgling) Tamara, Michelle all but holds out the babe for Lady Stark, if she likes. "I've been hoping you'd have a few moments of time. Please, meet Tamara."
"Not at all." There are few she would be so quick to hand over Tamara to, but Catelyn is one. Another is standing in the very large man in the room.
"Say hello to Lady Stark, my love." Tamara will continue gurgling, but no fussiness. She's fed and dry and held securely. She doesn't need anything else.
Manuel has no idea that Michelle's going to be in the common room. He hasn't seen the notices, mostly because he hasn't been paying attention. He's just coincidentally wandering in.
"Manuel?" Here's a person she didn't expect, more because they barely know each other, and being in a side room, she mistakenly believes he's intended to come.
"Thank you!" Michelle's happiness is its own presence in the room. "She's everything I could ever want."
Tamara's wide awake, so Lystra will get a look in her general direction. The baby's still working on focusing. "Let me introduce you to Tamara, Tamara, this is Lystra." A very formal introduction, spoken in a very silly voice.
Simply playing with Tamara, even if it is with silly introductions, make her grin brilliantly. "See, such lovely manners, now you have to say hello, my angel."
There's nothing other than a wiggle of a foot beneath the blanket.
"I think that means hello." As if her child's just cured the common cold, Tamara gets loads of kisses for her cooperation.

Michelle's all but laughing. "He's not bothering me at all. I'm only seeing the not too distant future."
It's an over-exaggerated movement, to make it clear to the little girl that she's being looked at. "I know his name is Daniel. What's yours?"

"Tasy," the little girl replies, shyly.
"And this is Daisy," Vivien clarifies. "Are you new here? I don't think we've met."

Is that your baby, is what he means.
He hasn't had all that much experience with babies, so he's feeling a little awkward.

When she sees Michelle holding her little bundle, she gasps and literally comes running over. "She's so cute."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, my lady," she says to Tamara, with matching silliness.
