[Open Post - John Reese] Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were sure was real?

Jun 02, 2014 02:46

Reese does not dream much, or if he does dream, the images in his mind do not impress themselves deeply enough into his recall to linger long in his mind. Lately, however, his dreams have started to grow more vivid, even alarmingly vivid. Faces from his world so expressive, events so powerful, he awakens from them shaking, certain that he has seen ( Read more... )

Melou's up late. He has so much trouble sleeping these days that he hasn't even bothered going to bed. He's looking pretty rough. His life has actually managed to get much, much worse since he had his scuffle with Reese.

He's currently wandering around the Mansion and thinking about how much he hates everything. He's not going to be very pleased when he runs into Reese.

And here's the kid he had to chuck out of the bar that one night -- and we suspect that Reese might have enjoyed that just a bit. Thus, not exactly the face he'd like to see, in the way that a large cat might not wish to see an especially irritating small dog.

"Up late, too? Guess it's catching," he asks, and there might be a hint of a wry amusement about it.

Melou looks slightly disgusted. "It's you."

He does not like you.

"Yeah, it's me," Reese replied, still with that hint of amusement. "Keeping yourself out of trouble?" he asks, though he suspects the kid -- and to Reese, Melou is a kid -- hasn't. He's not sure he wants to have to intervene, though it would get his mind off these dark visions.

Maledisant's up late, too. She finds it peaceful, mostly because there are less people around. Reese is welcome to disturb her, though. She's currently standing by a window and staring out at the stars.

He's brought along the bottle and a glass, but seeing the lady, he'll set them onto a nearby shelf or table: not proper to drink in front of a lady and he's only got the one glass.

"Admiring the view or just lost in your thoughts?" he asks, politely.

"I was lost in my thoughts," Maledisant replies, haughtily. "Then some buffoon interrupted them."

He'll smirk at this jab. "Well, in that case, this buffoon will be on his way: wouldn't want to continue intruding on milady's thoughts," he says, bowing to her, though there might be a slightly teasing cant in the gesture.

He can be detained, of course...

Because it just occurred to the typist that this could be interesting (and she wants to spam Reese with people because she's a Reese fangirl :3c), have an Agravain. He's been in a state of drunken rage practically non-stop since Mordred disappeared, and hasn't been keeping to any kind of normal sleep schedule, so he's up late.

Reese could run into him during one of his more sober moments. He's not drunk, just hungover, and for once he's not in too terrible a mood.

Manuel's actually going to run into Reese during the day. He may be nocturnal by nature, but he's been having to keep more of a diurnal schedule since Carol made him start going to school (lol). He's passing through the library during his mopey wanderings, though he does perk up a bit when he spots Reese.

"Reese?"

You should also have a Jason (the typist wasn't kidding when she said she was going to spam Reese with people :P). When he catches the scent of guns being cleaned he follows it back to its source, mostly because he's looking for someone to talk to/troll.

He leans against a nearby bookcase. "Nice guns," he comments.
