Yes I'm fine -- a little in shock still and stiff with a scraped knee/ripped knee of pants (note: from jumping off the car *after* the crash... hehe, irony...), but nothing serious.
Yes, I was calculating the angle as I brushed the spiderweb away - that'd definitely be distraction enough to crash! :P
Yay :), I can't wait to see you! I move in on the 26th of August and the entire next week is basically just settling in, I think... ("Welcome Week").
Yep. Shock would be a good way to describe it. I was scared to my bones when i realized that driving means having a *real* chance of killing someone you don' t even know. Do not mean to scare you, of course. )
How's summer now? Still lazy, relaxed, locked inside? Did you see the HP movie yet?
And as for college, that would be more like "entire month", really. They dont give you HW, first classes are like review and nobody cares, 'cause first couple of weeks are "shopping period" when you can select or drop classes at will, so they don't really teach you anything in case someone new comes in third week. :)
Anyhow, i'm back from Moscow on 3rd of September (tear, tear) - so could drop by that weekend or something, assuming jet lag does not kill me.:)
Summer... right now it's a little hectic. I just had NYU orientation (the last session, so... almost all the classes were full :/ ). Tomorrow I'm hanging out in New Haven with my mom and her sister's family. Monday I'm taking a train to Boston and will stay overnight *somewhere* (might not be able to get permission to stay in the dorms -- they are stricter about the rules this year, and my mom just told me that I'd need to ask someone to do that, so... kinda short notice - maybe a hotel/hostel). Tuesday, I take a train to Maine to visit my grandparents and things will relax again.
