What sort of books, by the way? Are we talking textbooks or normal, literary books?

Some of each. Mostly text books.

Ah. Well I think there's a bookshop just off Diagon Ally, a kind of blink and you'll miss it kind of thing who buy them off you. I've bought old textbooks from there, because sometimes the new ones miss out on stuff. As for the more literary ones, if they're Muggle literature, there's hundreds of Muggle second hand book shops around.

I think theres a secondhand bookstore in Hogsmeade, its in that odd little alleyway by the Three Broomsticks. They buy an assortment of books, and they sell the most amazing books also. I've been there many a time.
