Okay Sarah (in CA), I think you would enjoy this quote. And for everyone else, I take it back there is one thing that i liked about the book, Franny and Zooey, and it's this:

anesthesia is SO scary - but think about all the hundreds of people who are doing it in all the hundreds of hospitals at any given minute, and 99% of the time everything is fine so dont stress about it. if you ever ever need anything, i hope you know you can call me. a very close friend of mine had CF and i spent many a night with her in the hospital bed playing board games and such - we made it a little more tolerable being sick, so i hope you know i'd do the same for you anytime.

thank you so much missy. i really appreciate it. i know i won't have any issues with the anesthesia, but it's always the "what if" in the back of my mind that worries me. i'll be hitting you for some board game fun during my next hospital stay ;) i hope you're doing well. i miss ya.

i'm so sorry! i asked around to see who knew where you were, and nobody really knew.
i didn't have a car, but if anyone told me where you were then i would have taken the bus.

i'm so sad that i didn't get to see you while you were in the hospital.
know that i thought about you and missed you the entire time.

hey miss miss...

thank you for the message. i appreciate your concern i know it's difficult to get around without transportation. and don't feel that i was trying to make you, personally, feel guilty, it's just what i had been feeling and felt compelled to write. i mainly wanted to express my gratitude for my parents...i know you'll listen to me (vice versa) and miss having you around. but i now have more of a reason to go visit one of my favorite cities. take care of yourself.

ps...i don't have text messaging anymore :( i feel like i let you down ;)

You know that if you ever need ANYTHING, you can always call me. I'm sorry my work schedule is all over the place, because I would have been there to help you in a second. I may not say it as much as I should, but in the entire time that I've known you, you've been an incredibly good friend to me. And god knows I love you for that. If I could ever do anything to thank you for that, you know I'll do it.

you are an awesome friend and i really really appreciate it. you're a busy girl, but took time out to make sure i was ok and means everything. i was mostly whing about the move because i had 4 people punk out on me (2 of them being siblings) at the last minute and it's hard when that junk happens. i want you to know i'm there for you too. i mean it. let's go ghost hunting soon!

My little cousin has officially crapped out on my moving tomorrow, so I'm somewhat in the same boat. But what can you do?

You know you can come visit me anytime!! If you need time away from the family or just want to hang out, my door is always open for you. :) And Comcast comes out on the 19th, so I'll be good for entertainment.. hahaha.

August 26th - we're going on that ghost tour. I'll call you later and we can discuss.
