so i got a letter today from the state of colorado denying me medicaid because i didn't complete the application process. And if i want to appeal the decision i have to have a state hearing. what the hell? i wonder if there's people that work specifically with people with terminal illnesses/chronic illnesses that can help you? i wonder if maybe you need to apply for SSI, then get food stamps and Medicaid thru them? i wonder.

Just so you know, I feel for you right now, I really do. Everything about the "system" is so fucked up. People could spend a good 1/4 of their lives just dealing with bullshit around every corner. But, it's especially fucked up in your situation. If there's anything I can do for you, let me know. Even if it's just to wait in a line with you at some state office or something.
