“i’m tired of being in a relationship with your voicemail, jongin,” OK THIS IS SAD???? HOW MUCH OF A WORKAHOLIC MUST HE BE FOR SEHUN TO SPEAK TO HIS VOICEMAIL MORE OFTEN TO JONGIN HIMSELF??? realizing he's not been around enough and compensating it with kisses and cuddles and compliments later is pretty meh too bc... that's not all there is about a relationship. you need to invest more time than that ;u;
thE ENDING THO!!!! he did the right thing by muting his phone and putting sehun as first priority - tho it's probably not so good for his work - but he's saving his love life? ;u; bc words of love aren't enough when actions don't match but
“right here, sehunnie. wherever you are, that’s where i’ll be. we belong together.” if i were sehun i'd be so swooned! but i imagine sehun probably not completely trusting jongin yet and having sth like a test period? for dating? and then when jongin proves him he has changed and that he's a ( ... )

i would like to think that in time, jongin makes sehun his number one priority and proves it to sehun and makes up for all the things he's done in the past.
yes, present tense omgggg its so difficult when you're writing about stuff in the past so you use past tense but then you gotta switch to the present tense because youre writing current happenings and its all so switchy switchy and just gahhhh i hate it haha

i couldn't decide whether i wanted to kick jongin or be understanding of his situation bc work is important but sEHUN IS MORE IMPORTANT therefore i'm conflicted and sad /sighs although jongin realizing that what effort he was putting in wasn't good enough kinda put me at ease??? like idk bc when someone begins realizing that their best isn't good enough, it's usually the green flag for a turning point but still at the cost of their relationship, which is very :(((( jongin man why couldn't you have realized shit before sehun left then none of us would be brokenhearted /wipes tears
“please don’t leave,” jongin had begged one final time, choking on his tears. /chokes on my own tears
“i’m tired of being in a relationship with your voicemail, jongin,” /drowns in my tears ( ... )

IM JOKING LMAO! no im glad they /somewhat/ made up or Jongin finds out how important Sehun's presence is in his life. but I, am very suspicious as to how much Jongin will repent his mistake nd proves that he's deserve to have Sehun's love again?
So, my point is that I appreciate the sorta open happy ending for this story because im a fan for realistic-ness nd tho I will be happy wit Sekai back together, not all situations will turn out like that.
I'm sorry if thats not ur intention for the story, I really enjoy it nonetheless, and thank you for sharing it!!

but i purposely left it with an open, yet optimistic, ending for you to interpret it how you want. like, if you were in sehun's shoes, would you take jongin back? or would you think it's too late and he's missed his chance? that's the beauty of it, it's up to /you/ to decide ^^
