Aaah! I tried two days in a row to update my journal, but someone always interrupts me, I get up to do something, and then I lose it. :( I guess I'll try again! *sigh* It's been a regular Monday. Well, as regular as my days get! I did school, and lots of laundry. Interesting, huh? :P It was actually pleasant doing laundry today! It's my ( Read more... )

Laundry for twelve *winces*. . . And everyone here (myself included) is always complaining about laundry for five! Hehe. . .:)

Oh, there's plenty of complaining about the laundry here too! Though it's my least-despised chore, I don't always enjoy it! Even if it's completely caught up, the next day there's two or 3 loads to do. And if someone slacks off for a few days, well, it's not a pretty sight. Sometimes there's 6-8 loads backed up! We always lock the laundry room door when someone comes over! :P

2 sets? As in two washers and two dryers! Lucky!

Well, the washer wasn't working, and Papa had said the last time we got it fixed he wasn't going to fix it again, so they went ahead and got a new set. We found out later that it wouldn't be very much to fix the old washer! So we got it fixed, and now we have two! :) We definitely need two dryers! Before there was always a load of wet clothes sitting in a tub or on top of the dryer. :P

Hello! =) I saw that you added my old journal to your friend's list, so I've added you to my new journal's friend list. I look forward to getting to know you! =D

Hi! Thank you for adding me! :) I know some about you from message boards and such, but you probably don't know much about me! I am second oldest in a Christian, homeschooled family with 10 kids. We live in Northern MN, so the climate probably isn't a lot different than in AL! :) We live on 40 acres in the country, with a menagerie of dogs, cats, lambs, and a parakeet. :) I'm 17, and will graduate next year, Lord willing. I'd write more, but I should go do my chores!

Sounds like you've got a mini-farm! How fun. I graduated when I was 17 1/2 also! =)
