Tomorrow morning we go back to the doctor and have another ultrasound done, along with the regular monthly check. I guess this ultrasound is more detailed and they measure bones and look hard at all the organs. That should be neat.

My husband is planning to talk to his parents  tomorrow about the length of their stay in December.  I had been ( Read more... )

You need to think of you and your little one first. Hopefully, they will realize that and be okay. Is it their first grandchild?

Well, it isn't their first grandchild, which is kind of another sore spot for me because of the way they are behaving about it. It is their first BIOLOGICAL grandchild. My son was 10 years old when my husband and I got married, and then husband's sister adopted a little girl last year, who was 9 years old at the time ( ... )

Not at all. It's your journal and if you can't rant there, then where?

I agree with you. My sister totally dotes on her only granddaughter and treats the two boys like they are (a better grade) chopped liver. It makes me angry, but it's not my place or call, I suppose. There's so much she does that makes me angry, so this isn't a surprise.

*hugs* to you, your son and niece. They are lucky to have you as an adult in their lives.

How long do the in-laws plan on staying, I guess for a while for the baby right? Hope all goes with with the ultra sound.

This week they are visiting for one week. When the baby comes they want to stay longer but we are limiting it to one week then as well.
