I was just told that I have a 1:100 chance of winning a trip for a weightless flight! Only 100 teachers signed up for the chance to win the trip and I'm one of those 100. That would be so incredibly stinkin' awesome.

Little things like that get me so jazzed up :)

NASA's concept for a lunar mission calls for airbags to cushion the Crew Exploration Vehicle's landing back on Earth, most likely a West Coast site such as Edwards Air Force Base in California.

eeeeeeeh!  yes, I realize that its a way off but good golly you can put money on a bet that I will be as close as I possibly can get to that landing.

I got a call a little bit ago that my brother has been sent out on a strike team to the large fire off of I-5. He had been thinking that he'd be sent to the one down south since they put them on alert and figured out who is certified to go but then this one broke out this morning and it appears to be rather large.
