I hate Twitter. I do not have one, nor do I plan to get one. The medium has its place (news feeds, Barack Obama, the guy who survived a plane crash and posted updates), but LJ isn't it.

Twitter crossposts to LJ were tolerable when one or two of my friends were doing them, but some people are now posting nothing BUT Twitter, and half the time, their "tweets" are one side of conversations that only the people involved understand.

I scroll past that crap, and I also have a "read" filter on LJ that winnows out Twittery posts.
