I have to research what the healthcare bill means. I've heard a lot about what it is and isn't, and I suspect 3/4 of it is lies, half truths and deception.

I'm with you, Carrie. I realize it's not perfect, but the people that I elected into office actually did something that I elected them for. It's funny, I see all these irate rants claiming that "the majority of Americans are against this," yet the majority of Americans that *I* know are *for* healthcare reform. I wonder who counted the Americans for it and against it, and came up with that figure... or if it's just random. "Well I'm angry and against it, and so is this guy next to me, so lets go to Washington with that other guy and tell Obama that we are the majority, and we're against it."

I keep hearing that too. I think what happened in that rassmussen poll was this - the liberals didn't recognize the number on their cell phones so they didn't answer, while the right wingers were sitting at home with nothing better to and staring at their rotary phones waiting for them to ring. :)
