what the hell is the GLOBAL_HEAD thing and how do I use it?GLOBAL_HEAD is a tag (a set of instructions for your browser) that you use in most overrides. The place to put your overrides is on the 'Modify Journal' page, in the text box at the bottom. :)

ok i was making my layout (global head) and my entries wouldnt show up all the way and the picture wont show up because the entries are in the way. what do i change in the override to make the picture show up and the whole entry? reply to post or IM xocrazicoolox

First of all, you should probably choose the Generator style for your journal. When you are going to modify your journal, that is the easiest style to work with.

but how do you get a picture in the backround? you wouldnt be able to see it with the generator style

I tried to do that but my journal came out like http://www.livejournal.com/users/flyawaygrrl/ Ultimately I would like my journal to look like http://www.livejournal.com/users/xaarinana/ I know cherry whatever did that but I'm going to change the background to where its just a the same color and then have some random words put on it. Do you know the steps I should take (My journal is a freebie) to make it look like this?? I read your sidebar one but I still couldn't figure it out :( Thank you!!
