Anybody know a good way to get a ten month old back on her old schedule of sleeping eight hours, or more, at night?

If so, I would really REALLY like to know. <3<3<3

EDIT: It's now FOUR in the morning and I'm still awake~ No sign of sleep on the part of the baby. Whee. Shoot me?

*Thinks* Don't let her nap at noon anymore?

Sadly, that hasn't seemed to be helping any. ;;;

Yeah, I'd probably make her have shorter naps during the day, and make her go to sleep around 8-9pm (perhaps after your boys are well tucked in bed and asleep so that she doesn't get disturbed by them). That's what my aunty does with her youngest (granted he's a year old, but she kept this system up for a good while). If you get her to sleep after 9 it should give you enough time to either get some sleep in yourself or finish off some stuff. At least if you manage all that it's not too late for you either. :3

And maybe not lie down with her? Or else she'll get comfortable with you next to her and if you move she'll know it and freak out. Feel free to have a cuddle with her as she dozes off, but after that get outta there. :o

Though I'm not an expert with kids. ^^; All in all if I had my own kids I wouldn't have a clue what to do first. This is what I've seen with my aunty and mum whenever we babysit, and I've tried it a couple of times myself with my cousin and it works. Good luck.

Sadly, the taking away her naps during the day isn't helping. This child could fall comatose standing up. You don't know how many times she's been playing in her playpen and I've come back into the room to find her, still sitting up, in the corner, snoring.

And she is impossible to wake after. It's terrible! You poke her and prod her and talk to her and try to keep her awake, and nope, she's just... dead to the world~ And she'll stay that way till she's damned well done with sleeping. ;;;;

And actually, I don't curl up with her at all, for sleeping. She sleeps by herself and goes to sleep by herself, mostly. It's just she very much decides when she's going down and when she's getting up and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do to fix that. @o; *sighs*

She's already an independant little woman. Heaven help me when she hits thirteen. ;;;; <3<3
