LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW!

First time in 24 years!!! It snowed all morning, but now it's back to raining and the snow is melting or it never stuck. Sorry for the pics quality, my more recent camera broke and I used my previous one.

Palm trees and Mediterranean pines!

But now it is only a memory. The only place where I can still see some remains of snow are some cars roofs.
I swear it was an incredible show, that my poor camera could not register at all.

Me, too! I wish I had better pictures, but if you google it, you may find some good stuff (I think).

Well, nothing left of the incredible snowfall of this morning. But I saw the images on the TV news and downtown was wonderful, especially St Peter's and the fountains. Maybe there's something on youtube. I don't have time to make a research, but I'm sure that Romans filled the web with pics and vids.

The only difference between yesterday and in 1985 and 1986 is that then the snow made a layer of many inches and we could actually go out and play, take pictures and everything, while yesterday's snowfall was impressive, but the snow melted a few minutes after because of a shower and the eventual sunshine. :( But TV news were full of scenes taken in the center and interviews with the people who were all excited about it.

Before Rilestar and you mentioned it, I would never notice that I actually had real palm trees in the block yard (I gave it for granted), let alone that snow wasn't supposed to fall on them! Now, THAT'S weird!
