i have developed a horribly perturbing awareness of my left hand and its actions, or indeed inactions. it is a bit like when you think you are a good, fast, efficient typer, until you realise you actually peck away at the keyboard with your index fingers. then every time you type from then on you feel like some kind of gigantic three year old child

yes. at least in my head it does. i can't vouch for real life though.
