HARRY POTTER!

My Harry Potter book came yesterday! "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince." Yay! I am so excited. However, I've promised myself that I will ONLY read 1 chapter per day. That way I can stretch the excitement and happiness that is the book over a month! Plus I can really absorb and think about the story in between. Hehe just thought I'd ( Read more... )

Heh! Well, this is better than what Jim did - he paged me about it! Oh, you might want to include him in any of these warnings, too...

But warning me isn't going to do any good. I will be finished with it before too much longer. I'll just remember that you're not going to get through it before the end of summer, and not include any spoilers when I talk to you.

David, I can't believe you took a DAY OFF to read the book! Haha don't you want to savor the story? I read the first chapter last night, and it was really interesting. I can't wait to read the 2nd before I go to bed tonight! Oh yeah, you're definitely right...don't give anything away. :)

*Insert sounds of laughter* Good thing you can't believe it, because it's not true. I had several things I needed to get done today, and they've been on the schedule for about a month now - HBP had nothing to do with that. Shoot, if that was all it was, I wouldn't have had to take any time off! The book came out Friday night, and I had it reserved months ago - if it was just reading, well, yesterday was plenty of time for that. No, I've been taking care of other business today, and I'll probably have to take another partial day some time this week. But that's a different issue.

Aight, David, I believe you, but you DID read some Harry Potter yesterday, right? Because frankly, I cherished the thought of you, snug in a recliner with a mug of tea and the book, chuckling at the fact that we were all in the fab, slaving away. Hehe

Wow, another Harry Potter fan. Oh well, I don't have a problem with it. Just another cute little quirk about you I guess. I never knew how many Harry Potter fans I knew though. Oh, I loved your description of Danse Bacchanale..."a musical version of an orgy". So perfect.
