Neither of my parents have hit 50 yet, even though it's not like they were "young" at having me -- 25/26 is how old they are when I was born, which is not crazy young. But I have tons of friends at WU whose parents are ANCIENT. Like mid-60s even! It always creeps me out because my grandma isn't even 70 yet...
