Reading Richard III...it's insane...saw film version before reading the play with Ian McKellen as Richard, set in fascist 1930's Britain. I applied to dental school on Friday! Such an excellent feeling to be 'done' with at least part of the process. So I'm back in the U Apps, 307. Woohoo! It's lovely. We've unpacked and settled in, and went to Target and WinCo today. So we're fully fooded and ready for classes to start. I have not written in this in a while. First, I'm applying to dental school this summer. It's a long, arduous process. I have to take the DAT (Aug 24 at 10am) and prepare my personal statement, and get transcripts and rec letters together, and observe Dr. Green, and call people and suck up to people, and it's getting crazy. I got new bedding for the apartment yesterday! It's so lovely...dark purple sateen sheets (I've never spent $50 on sheets before...ooh, chill!) and an Egyptian cotton bedspread (soooo soft!) and a lovely royal purple throw for when it gets cold.
