Sonken is from a derivation of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and a historical figure of the Three Kingdoms to boot.

Hellboy is from a American comic book with a really distinctive apperance.

Both are used to staring, so jumping is a okay with me. I'd rather avoid the fictional/not bit, though.

Vimes is from the Discworld series.

All four chatacters come from manga.

Kyouya would probably be the most reconizable, cause the rest as fairly more secondary characters and Haine's canon fanbase is tiny.

All of my characters (Hanajima, Hyatt, Hisui, Ryuugasaki Momoko, & Maria) have written forms of their canon. Momoko is the only one who's from an actual novel (Shimotsuma Monogatari, known as Kamikaze Girls in the US) -- the rest only have manga versions.

And I'm fine with thread-jumping (and staring).
