UPDATE: I decided that rather than be immature I'd cowboy up and talk to the guy that the CLB comes to visit. He said he'd ask CLB to knock with some authority. I initially suggested that maybe if he knew the guy was coming he could call me over the intercom system. He could even tell me something like, "The duck flies at midnight!" and I could respond, "The wooly worm has no stripes!" but for some reason he nixed that idea. What?

Sorry! I changed the title 'cuz I don't want people worried. ;)

I think part of it is that I'm *really* weirded out by this guy - and the weird door lurking thing weirds me out too. I was talking to the other ladies who work here yesterday, and he went back into their office for something. They said they caught the same weird creepy vibes off of him too.

It's probably a good thing you're airing your concerns to others who work there!

*nods* All kidding aside, this guy really makes my alarm bells go off. That almost never happens, but in past experience it's always been something I should pay heed to. I'm not sure why they're ringing, but they are.

Maybe with others in your workplace on alert, *his* alarm bells will go off and he'll lower the creepy factor. Trust your gut, i always say!

I sure hope so. The coworker said he left him a message explaining that I can't always hear him tap, and that it startles me to look up and see him standing there - to KNOCK loudly. But yeah, maybe he'll turn down the creep factor some.

OK, "the duck flies at midnight" cracked me right up, BUT, I agree with the creepy vibe. You are right to let others know and hopefully he'll start knocking like a normal person.

Ewwww.

*nods* He's coming up here right now about 2 times a week, so it would be nice if he'd tone it down some. The coworker sort of looked at me like I have a screw loose when I said that about the code words. lol
