the lovely bones

after around four months of reading it off and on, i finally finished the lovely bones by alice sebold this afternoon at around 2:20 p.m. i'd have to give it a 10 out of 10. the story didn't end how i thought it would end, but it was a pleasant surprise, i'll be looking forward to her next novel.

in other news, personal life has been pretty mellow

all the news coverage is totally depressing, isnt it? Everytime I see her mother on there, more and more strained, my heart breaks a little.

she's doing a great job on the rescue/recovery search. i've got a great deal of respect for the mother. but yes, it's sad, it's kinda weird, some sad cases drag you in, others, it's just kinda like: eh, people disappear everyday
