Fic: Not Friends, Not Anything

No, I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth but I know I’ve been MIA for a while. Well, I won’t bore you with the details but don’t expect any multi-chapter epics anytime soon. I don’t really have a lot of time to write, but I’ll try to fire off a few one shots from time to time. Expect them to be angsty - even more angsty than my usual stuff.

Thanks and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't view the H/G post-break up relationship as being perfect.

hey you - do you still remember me, your avid reader from NYC? it's good to read you again and you always amaze me for switching gears and just keeping enuff degree of angst for me, who's an avid H&G shipper to read your H&G fanfic. i do muse Ginny would feel resentment of Harry's unlitaral decision about their relationship and you write H&G in this angsty situation so well. it's a brilliant post HBP H&G angst fic and i imagine though H&G would still end up together, Harry will really "work himself back to win Ginny's heart all over"! all the best from deep freeze NYC :>

I too believe that in the end Harry and Ginny would be together, but as you put it Harry would have to work really hard to win her over again. I think it would be a long and angsty road for the two of them.

Okay, couple things to say.

1. I'm not really one for Harry/Ginny fanfiction (it's a rarity for me to read one that is H/G centric), but I really liked this one. I mean REALLY. It's the first time I've read HP fiction in a long time.

2. Yeah, I know I'm, like, crazy late in reviewing this.

3. The reason It's been so long since I've read HP fanfiction is that I've got a new MAJOR obsession: Grey's Anatomy. And the only reason I mention this is that I absolutely love your icon!! MerDer forever!!! You should try writing Grey's Anatomy fanfiction lol...that's what I've been reading lately :).

I'm happy that you gave this fic a try even if you don't really ship Harry/Ginny. I'm not as good a person as you because I don't read fics unless I like the pairing.

Since last summer, Grey's Anatomy has become my obsession. This week's episode is going to be two hours long! I can't wait!

OMG I know!! I've been completely obsessed with it since I sat down to watch it with my sisters. But this past week Derek was a real McAsshole. He better get it together lol. I'm so excited for the two hour episode!! Taye Diggs is gonna be on!! I dig Tay Diggs!!! I'm gonna have to wait til Friday to see it though, because I'm going to be at The Lion King...Broadway Across America has it in Cincinnati right now and I have tickets. EEK!! Only three days!

Oh I think this was spot-on! Ginny really wouldn't be okay with Harry's decision, I'm sure, especially since she's so strong. She'd want to be included, and she'd be pissed if she weren't.

And I love Lupin as surrogate daddy. Always warms my heart...

I've read a few fics where Ginny seems to accept Harry breaking up with her without question. This is Ginny Weasley, for crying out loud! In books 5 & 6 J.K. Rowling has showed us she can be just as fiery and stubborn as the rest of her family.

Lupin is one of my favourite characters. You'll probably notice a common theme with my fics as I try to have him play a surrogate father to Harry.
