I can't get rid of 'em! Caught one doing something horrible to my shoes and when I squashed it, three more showed up. And the little buggers just keep coming!

[Really, the object lesson is that there are lots of ways to inconvenience something without killing it. All the fairies that appear in her room are getting caught, tied up, and kicked out. But she's hoping he'll come up with something a little more moral, or just go crazy ignoring her and be sent home early or something.]

[Carter's cut off in midsentence as a dozen or so fairies, as one, grab hold of his tie and pull. There's some kind of confused, blurred action as Carter is somehow dragged off camera. Much cursing and noises follow, and then Carter reappears, looking considerably the worse for wear.]

I believe continuing to kill them will only worsen the disagreement. Have you tried apologizing?
