Survival - Day 1

No wife for 5 days. 3 kids + dog. Day 1 was going well. Even managed to buy/install new cd-rom drive (old one played dvd's only, couldn't play cd's). Bedtime even wasn't much of a problem. patience gone when child came down stairs for nth time for inane reason. Minor loss of temper. all 3 stayed upstairs thereafter. Still need to walk dog
