Survival - Day 2: not much different than Day 1. Only yelled once to keep the kids upstairs.

Survival - Day 3-5: got the routine down. Housework was kept up, extra cleaning down on Day 5 in prep for wife coming home. Hope she appreciates it

definitely noticed and appreciated the clean house. :) You must not have heard my (admittedly mumbled and slurred from exhaustion) comment on it as I came into the room Saturday morning. :)

I wouldn't say I "insisted" on doing the shopping. I just said I would, and then did. And I'm not really *sick*- I just have a sinus thing and my stomach was unhappy for a while. You were grumpy, and I thought that's what you *wanted* me to do.

And next time you want to leave the kids and housework to me while you do stuff- just do it. Or tell me that's what you want. You could have set up in the kitchen with your computer and worked, gate up, kids out of your hair. Or. like when I herded them all upstairs for nap time. Or something. Sheesh.
