I feel a bit silly asking, but, are folks without LJ accounts welcome to participate as well?

Sorry for the late reply! I wasn't sure how to answer because I'm new to Big Bangs myself and I wasn't sure what the normal way it's handled, but my co-mod and I agree that yes, you should be able to participate even if you don't have a LiveJournal account. :)

I'm not sure if you'll be able to post your finished fic to this community when the posting period starts, but if not, we can still make it work. A mod or the artist you're paired with can post the finished piece to the comm and link to your fic, which you can post on Dreamwidth or wherever. I hope that makes sense!

Well, time to help bombard in the question-asking.

Would you allow mix-and-matching? Partial graphics and partial writing? I'm an artist and a writer, so I was just curious.

You can do both graphics or writing, but if you choose to do the writing, it MUST be 10,000+ words; there's no partial for the writing. Does that make sense?

if you did the easy version do all the fics have to be for the same animation?

For the easy version, nope, each of the fics can be for any fandom, so they can all be different, or you can write for the same animation multiple times. It's up to you. :)
