The Little Match Girl

I finally watched  "The Little Match Girl," --- a quick animated Disney feature introduced to me by the Nostalgia Critic in his "Top 11 Best Christmas Movies" video. This silent short, based on the book of the same name by Hans Christian Anderson, is wonderfully animated and only narrated by beautiful instrumentals.

Fair warning - it's very sad!

I cried when I read the original Little Match Girl. All of Hans Christian Andersen's works (apart from The Ugly Duckling I'd say) are very depressing. The original Little Mermaid is a bawl fest.
