That is a picture of what used to be a perfectly comfortable pair of glasses. I bought them for no other reason than their comfort. I've needed new glasses for about a year now and I was planning on just putting new lenses into my trusty old frames. But, alas, they are no more. Art thing, eh? That sounds like a great idea. I was thinking of burying them and having a proper funeral, but Mother Nature would probably say no.

In other news, I went and got my eyes checked today and the lenses ALONE for my new glasses cost $174!!! And I'm just haning them put into old sunglasses frames! No paying for new frames! Just the lenses!

*frustrated sigh* Perposterous!
