I was bookstore slaving it this evening, thus no parties for me. Your entries are a party though, so it's nice to come home and see that not everyone in the world is standing behind a cash register on a Saturday evening with one of the resident psychos screaming about how he is going to go to the White House and fire George Bush, and then ask their check-out girl out in the same breath as, "I caught my wife fucking cheating on me."
I work at a Barnes and Noble out here; I stifled laughter over the George Bush comment, though my opinions of the President aren't quite as intense or extreme as my fellow San Fernando Valley-ian; I think being president is a bit beyond George Bush, and he is (and has been) in way over his head with his chosen profession. I admire the courage it takes to be president of a country, but it takes more than courage to maintain stability (which I have yet to see happen while George Bush is holding the reins).
I'm so tired of politics from every side though; like people hiding behind their religions, people are starting to hide behind their political party. I'm tired of people making excuses for their actions and not taking responsibility themselves for what they do.
Certainly put a damper on the party mood there, ey?
I had dinner over my dad`s with him and my sisters, I came home and talked to Maria online a little and then I fell asleep to `The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air` reruns. I`m such a party animal!! Haha!!
hehe, he's so cuute, Sarah! I went to his house lastnight, but we couldn't stay, so I was kinda bummed. then he called me a couple of times, but I didn't hear my phone ring, so I kinda feel like I stood him up or something!
