LOL. I love Han. :) Especially his remarks expressed in his own unique way, for example about Luke's parentage, and about his right hand being a part of him.

I loved the whole scene where Han used his mechanical skills on Luke. It was unexpectedly intimate.

That scene with Han adjusting Luke's hand - I wrote this story some time ago (just after ROTS) and had that scene. Then I read another story by someone else specifically about Luke's hand and adjustments, so I took the scene out because I felt odd about it. But taken out, the story didn't feel right to me any more, so I put it back in! I guess with something as important as the hand, with all its levels of meaning for Luke, it's bound to happen that similar things get written! I did want it to be intimate, so I'm very glad that came across :)

Artoo played such a huge part in the Saga, that I wanted to think about the implications of everything that happened to him, and all that he witnessed. Even though he's a droid, he definitely has emotions of a kind!
